Terms of Use

Updated: 2026

By using the Haven app you agree to these terms. Please read them — we’ve kept them plain.

What Haven is

Haven is a self-help app for panic and anxiety: breathing, grounding techniques, calming sounds, guided meditations and a warm AI companion. It is a psychoeducation and self-help tool, not a medical service.

Not a substitute for a doctor

The app does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment, and does not replace a doctor, therapist or emergency care. With chest pain radiating to the arm or jaw, fainting, or if an attack is the first time — seek emergency care (911 in the US or your local number). If you have thoughts of harming yourself, contact a crisis line and people close to you.

Haven+ subscription

Core help for panic and anxiety is free forever. The Haven+ subscription unlocks extra sounds, the full meditation library, the live AI companion and a calm diary.

Refunds are handled under App Store and Google Play policies — we neither receive nor store your card details.

Proper use

The app is for personal use and not intended for children under 13. Do not rely on it in situations requiring emergency medical care.

AI companion

The “Companion” is software, not a person or a professional. Its replies are supportive and educational. Please don’t enter data that could identify you into the chat.

Intellectual property

The app’s text, design, sounds and meditations belong to the rights holder. Personal, non-commercial use within the app is permitted.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for decisions made based on use of the app. The app does not guarantee that symptoms will stop.
